• Maintain records for children as required by the office of early childhood.

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational goals.

• Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities.

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

• Conduct assessments to track student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

• Collaborate with parents and colleagues to support and enhance the learning experience of each child.

• Utilize behavior management techniques to create a positive classroom environment.

Previous experience working with preschool-aged children.

• Knowledge of educational theories and practices.

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

• Ability to plan engaging and age-appropriate lessons that cater to individual learning needs.

• A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering children’s development.

• Registered with the OEC.

Assistant Teacher

• Implement lesson plans consistent with the center’s core curriculum under the direction of the Director/Head Teacher.

• Promote the health, safety, and well-being of the students.

• Assist with daily reports for each child.

• Maintain orderly and sanitary classroom.

• Interface with parents.

• Ensure development and maintenance of positive emotional climate including classroom management strategies that support social/emotional development.
